Define the material before the appearance
Ask for the PMMA product code, cast or extruded identification, thickness and any protective film or coating. Include the same material in your sample brief.

Write the result you want to inspect
Describe whether you need an engraved image, a cut outline or both. Specify the visible face and the edge appearance that matters to your application.
| Bring | Clarify |
|---|---|
| Exact sheet grade and thickness | Material and working-envelope suitability |
| Artwork at the intended size | Fine details, text size and positioning |
| Representative sample | Agreed engraving and edge appearance |
Compare the workflow, not an isolated setting
Use the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and application evaluation. A setting copied from another machine does not establish a usable process on your material.
Epilog’s guidance lists acrylic engraving and cutting under CO2 applications. The final configuration and sample still need confirmation. Manufacturer compatibility reference.
A useful next step
Compare CO2 system concepts, then share your material, dimensions and result with the application brief.
